Hello!

I'm Dr. Skye Winslow. I've lived and worked in Carmel along with my husband, Bob Donaldson, for more than 30 years.

About 11 years ago, I was diagnosed with two brain tumors. One, a vestibular schwannoma, was removed in a 10-hour operation. While the surgery went well, I suffered many post-op complications with nasty names like Meningitis and Cushing's Syndrome. To heal, I went back to school!

Today, I'm a Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor (ND), Certified Medical Support Hypnotherapist (CMS-CHt) and Instructor, Nutritionist & Health Coach (IIN), Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Raw Food Chef & Instructor, and Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP). In May, 2023, (age 62) I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology, and I'm about 30 hours short of being an RN. To say I went "all in" is probably an understatement (LOL).  I mention this to let you know that I understand how difficult it can be to regain your health, and how tired you might be to try something new.

In June of 2023, while on vacation with my husband, I visited a Salt Cave in Massachusettes. We knew the people of Central Indiana needed a place like this to help them heal from many chronic conditions. The best part is, a salt cave is an absolutely stunning place to begin your journey back to wellness and/or to maintain and preserve your good health, if you are so fortunate. Additionally, "halotherapy" is an "alternative therapy" so many health savings accounts (HSA and FSA) will cover the cost of "Halotherapy" and Far Infrared treatment. (Check with your provider!)

Today, I'm still working to regain my health, and I feel blessed to have the continued support of my family and friends. I hope you stop by and say hello. Check out the Caves and let me know what other services you'd like to see here at Carmel Salt Caves & Spa. Until we meet, Be Well.

** Please note - In Indiana, Naturopaths are NOT licensed to diagnose or treat disease. Always discuss all medical concerns with your licensed care provider.

I offer these images so you'll know I understand how difficult it can be to face a major illness. Just take it one day at a time and soon your body will find its balance again.
If you truly believe you are made in "His" image - you know in your heart that your body is designed to be self healing.
